Born for the Spotlight Title Sequence
MotionWinter 2025This title sequence for Born for the Spotlight focuses on the character Shih Ai-ma and her journey through fame, failure, and redemption. Inspired by mid-century poster design and Swiss modernism, I used bold typography, geometric composition, and a warm palette of orange, yellow, and white to reflect the intensity of the spotlight. A small circle symbolizes Shih Ai-ma, shifting from grey to yellow as she rises to fame, back to grey when she is blacklisted, and finally glowing once more as she reclaims the light. The design captures the emotional arc of an actress shaped by ambition, mistakes, and resilience.
